	Elect Jim Miller Jim Miller Is Running for Lake County School Board District 2 Seat Jim Miller is currently serving on the Lake County School Board. He ran for and won the District 1 Seat in August of 2010 and was elected to a 4-year term. Due to the geographic redistricting, Miller lives in the new District 2, and is running for that Seat in the Fall 2012 election.
Miller has resigned his District 1 Seat effective at midnight on November 19th, 2012, and if elected, will begin representing District 2 on November 20th, 2012. Miller believes that someone who lives in the new District 1 should represent that area of Lake County, which is why he chose to resign his Seat. Consequently, the District 1 Seat is now up for election in 2012. Miller has lived in the current boundaries of District 2 -- which includes Leesburg, Fruitland Park, and Lady Lake -- since 1977.
