Jim Miller, 61, a commercial realtor, filed to run for School Board District 1 Seat.  The seat is currently held by Larry Metz, who is running for Florida House of Representives District 25.  Miller has long been a Champion of Public Education.  He founded and served as Executive Director of WorldClass Lake County -- a Florida Chamber of Commerce led school reform movement.

"My business background will help me work with fellow Board Members, our Superintendent and Staff to direct the school district's limited resources to the classroom.  Our kids are the future of our country.  I am all about helping our kids succeed in life," said Miller... evidenced by his impressive résumé of volunteerism for kids.
